AI learning roadmaps for any subject

Learn anything.
One cairn at a time.

Tell Waycairn what you want to learn and how you like to learn it. It turns that into a step-by-step roadmap, makes sure you actually understood each step, and keeps you moving with a focus timer and a streak that forgives a day off.

Why Waycairn

Self-study rarely fails for lack of material.

It fails somewhere around week two: forty open tabs, three half-finished courses, and no idea what comes next. There is more to learn from than ever, and less to tell you which part, in what order, and whether you got it.

Hikers solved this a long time ago. On a trail with no signs, people stack stones, a cairn, so whoever comes next always knows the way. Waycairn does that for whatever you are learning.

How it works

From “I want to learn this” to a trail you can walk

  1. Say what you want to learn

Pick a subject, how long you want to spend on it, and the way you learn best: reading, video, audio or hands-on practice. Add anything that matters: what you already know, a budget, a goal.

  2. Let an AI draw the map

Waycairn writes a carefully built prompt. Run it in the AI chat you already use, free, with no account with us and no API key, then paste the roadmap back. It is checked before it is saved.

  3. Walk the trail

Topics in a sensible order, resources in your format, and a short knowledge check at each step. Pass it, and the next stretch of the trail opens.

Features

Built to get you to the end, not just to the start

Proof, not checkmarks

Every topic ends with a short knowledge check, and passing it is what moves you forward. Your progress means you learned it, not that you clicked it.

A timer that runs on real time

Start a focus session, then go read, watch or build. It keeps counting outside the app, tells you when to take a break, and logs the time against what you studied.

A streak that forgives

Study days build your streak, and every week of them earns a freeze that covers a day off. A holiday costs you growth, not the whole run.

A schedule that follows you

Tell it how many hours a week you have and it projects a finish date. Log what topics really took, and the projection corrects itself.

Learn the way you learn

Ask for reading, video, audio or practice first. Your roadmap leads with your format and fills in with the others where they help.

Works offline, wherever you study

On your phone or your computer, online or not. No account to create and nothing to sync, so there is nothing to lose when the Wi-Fi drops.

Privacy

Your learning stays yours

Waycairn is built so that we could not read your data even if we wanted to: it never reaches us.

  • Everything you study, write and score is stored on your device, not on our servers.
  • No account, no ads, no trackers, and no data to sell.
  • Export everything to a file whenever you like, in an open format.
  • Optional anonymous crash reports help us fix bugs. They never include your content, and you can switch them off.

Questions

Good questions to ask

Is it free?

Yes. The app is free and needs no account, and building roadmaps by running our prompt in your own AI chat is free for good. Paid extras may come later, such as generating a roadmap without leaving the app, and they will stay optional.

Do I need to pay for an AI?

No. The free tier of the popular AI chats is enough. You copy the prompt, paste it there, and paste the answer back into Waycairn.

What can I learn with it?

Anything you can describe: programming, a language, an instrument, history, a certification. The roadmap is written for your goal, not picked from a catalogue.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere: it stays on your device. We never see your roadmaps, your progress or your notes. The only thing that can leave the device is anonymous crash and usage reports, which you can switch off.

When does it launch?

Soon. Join the launch list and you will get a single email on the day it is out, or join the beta to try it now.
